Bouget,Water Budget, Water Bouget

The formalised bouget as generally borne in coats of armour

Other occurrences of the bouget
A vessel anciently used by soldiers for carrying water in long marches. It was also used by water-carriers for the conveyance of water from conduits to the houses of citizens. It is variously depicted in ancient manuscripts and was often carried in pairs, as so borne in the arms of Bannister. This bearing is frequent in English Heraldry and sometimes occurs in Scotch armoury, but it is seldom if ever met with in foreign heraldry. A rare term for the bouget is dosser. Although sometimes called bucket, that term is more appropriately used for the ordinary bucket.
