Cat, Catamount, Cat-a-mountain, Mountain Cat, Musion or Wildcat

Usually depicted as a tabby, this domestic animal is used as crest and supporter, but not often met with as a charge or bearing in the shield, though the catamount or wild cat does occur.

The catamount is always represented guardant and need not be so described in blazon.
