Couple-Close

a chevron couple-closed

A diminutive of the chevron, being one-quarter of its width and always borne in pairs. The couple close is to the chevron what the cotise is to the bend, being generally borne together, but blazoned both ways, either a  chevron cotised or a chevron couple-closed.
