Cross Bretressed, Cross Crenellé 

  A cross borne embattled or in the form of battlements on the upper and under side, so placed that the merlons and crenelles correspond on either side. It has also by some been termed a plain cross crossed, a crossed crossed fixed, a cross crosslet fixed, a cross nowyed quadrat and even, though very erroneously, a cross raguly.
