Cross Millrind, Cross Millrine

Cross Miller

Like the Cross Moline, this cross takes its name from the resemblance it bears to the millrine, the iron placed in the centre of the mill-stone.  The millrine was depicted in various shapes of which the more angular form was adapted to the Cross Millrine whereas the Cross Moline assumed the curved version.
