Inclave, Lambeauxed, Paté 

 The dovetail is a term used by joiners, and supposed to have been first introduced into heraldry in 1720. It is line of partition resembling dovetail joints or one quarter of the cross paté, applied to the lines of division on the borders of  an Ordinary .

2. Inclave

The chief, when completely separated into two parts forming, as it were, cantons, is termed inclave.
