A lady’s fan, found in the arms of the Fanmakers Company, which should be so termed to distinguish it from the Winnowing-Fan.

Gu and Az on the dexter side a shaving iron over a bundle of sticks
tied together of the
first and on the sinister a framed saw in pale Or
Crest: Upon a helm on a wreath Or and Gu, a hand couped proper holding a fan
