Or a bend arg fimbriated sa

Fimbriated is a term describing a  charge edged either of a metal to prevent two colours coming together, or of a colour, to prevent the meeting of two metals. This is made in order to avoid breaking the rule that "no metal can be placed on metal , or colour on colour."  Cousu is the French term describing this contravention. See Tincture

Bordered is very occasionally encountered in blazon to describe a  charge edged either of a metal or colour in its own right.
