Gammadion

A cross formed from four Greek letters Gamma united at its base. It is in fact a Cross Potent rebated, and is also called Fylfot, under which name its limbs may sometimes appear as a reversed Gamma. By some early writers, it was sometimes called a Cross Redout or Redoubt from its resemblance to a bulwark or fortification.
