Gyron

A Subordinary consisting of a bisected Quarter, drawn from any given side of the field and meeting in an acute angle in the fess point. If there is only one gyron in a coat, and that issues from the dexter chief point  a gyron is sufficient in the blazon as its position is implied, but if it issues from any other part of the shield it must be then particularly mentioned.
