Passant

Walking; said of any animal, except beasts of the chase, when represented as walking, with head in profile and the dexter  paw raised. Passant can also take various forms, i.e. passant guardant,  passant regardant, passant rampant and passant repassant.  
The term used for beasts of the chase is trippant or tripping.
