Pear

Pear and pear reversed

The well-known fruit, when borne in coat-armour, it is generally placed as on the dexter side of the shield. Pear reversed is so called when placed as on the sinister side. The name of a pear classed among those called baking-pears was sometimes called a Warden in armory and, in allusion to the name, three such pears are the Arms of the family of Warden.

Pear slipped and leaved.

Pear-tree eradicated and fructed.
