1 A wedge-shaped subordinary consisting of two lines issuing from either side of the middle chief point to meet at the middle base point. When borne plain it is one-third of the chief in width and two-thirds when charged.

18. A pile reversed, rounded in base. It is sometimes blazoned pile reversed gored or pile reversed chaperonné-ployé in base.

20. Piles, three, in bend, issuing from the dexter chief point, fleury on each point; or blazoned by some heralds, a triple pile, in bend, fleury at the points.

26. Piles traversed and counter-traversed barwise, with as many on the sinister side. The result is similar to lozengy extended fessways.
