Abbreviated sa

The colour black. When engraved it is represented by crossed perpendicular and horizontal lines. It denotes grief, simplicity, wisdom, prudence, and honesty. In ancient heraldry, this colour on a nobleman's coat was called  by the precious stone diamond, and by the planet  Saturn when on the coat of a sovereign prince.
