Tail

The tails of most beasts have specific terms as, for instance, the brush of a fox, the scut of a hare, the single of a deer, the stern of a wolf, the wreath of a boar, etc. The direction of the tail is sometimes blazoned, e.g., a lion coward is shown with his tail between his legs.
