Wiure

Viure, Viuré, Viurie or Wyer

 These terms, which are severally used by Boswell, Ferne, and others, seem to imply a narrow band, which may be drawn into a form nebuly, indented, etc. and, according to Randle Holme, a wiure is much less than either bendlet or cotise, being drawn only by a stroke of a pencil or pen in the appropriate form of line and may be placed barwise, bendwise, etc.
